That's because our Sweese Butter Crock is designed to store butter at room temperature, which means that it allows your butter to be soft and spreadable at any time at hand.

Tricks & Tips

  • Always keep the crock away from heat.
  • Adding a little salt or vinegar to the water is helpful to keep fresh, while it doesn't affect the taste of the butter either.
  • Refresh your water every 2-3 days and this could be part of your morning routine.
  • The crock works best with real butter instead of margarine.
  • Clarified butter (also known as Ghee) and whipped butter are not recommended for use in the butter crock.
  • Herbal butter is fine to store in a butter crock, however, it will not stay fresh as long as pure butter. Butters that contain fresh herbs will stay fresh for approximately 5 to 7 days in the butter.

    How to Return and Exchange an Item

    Customer service: the return address is based on the nearest warehouse where you located. Contact us with an instant message box or fill in the form if needed. Online time: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm EST.

    E-mail us: direct all return to info@sweese.com. Please allow up to 24 hours to process your return. Once processed, new logistics information or refund will be e-mailed. Reach us if any further questions and inquiries.

    Sweese does not take responsibility for lost or stolen packages once they are marked as delivered by the shipping carrier.

    Special products

    Most purchases from Sweese can be returned within 30 days. There are some exceptions: Clearance items cannot be returned for refunds (but exchanges are accepted), and gift cards are not accepted for refunds.
